It’s the dog days of summer and although we’re looking forward to rocking this fall’s hottest trends, there’s still plenty of warm days ahead and I’m sharing 5 summer sandal trends you can still rock for the rest of the summer. Sandals are summer staples and with so many styles and trends to choose from, I decided to narrow it down to 5 that I’m loving lately.
Dress up or dress down? There’s a sandal for that! I love how sandal styles have evolved and how you can really spruce up an outfit with an array of designs.
Summer Sandal Trends
I’ve narrowed down some of my favorite new additions and now you can shop them too!
When I first saw these, I got major Madewell vibes. The assorted colors make it easy to pair with multiple outfits and are just a fun style to rock in the summer. The criss-crossed straps are also very flattering and comfortable to wear.
I had seen similar styles like this before but usually with an espadrille platform. I found these sans platform for less than $25. My feet grew about 2 sizes after having my girls and I don’t really like how the platform shoes look on me. I get major Frankenstein (like Herman Munster) vibes. Just me?? IDK!
Sparkle and Shine
These slides are probably my most versatile. You can pair with a sweet sundress or jean shorts and white top for an effortless, yet chic look. They are nude and the wide straps across the foot are covered sparkling embellishments.
These are my quintesential sandals for summer. This laid back look is so charming with the oversized bow front and center. The cotton upper is comfortable and gives these slides the perfect casual look.
I absolutely fell in love with these the first time I’d seen them. I love all the faux-pearls adorning the three straps. These are perfect for dressing up an outfit and can take blue jeans and a tee to the next level.
Well there you have it! The 5 summer sandals trends that you can still rock for the rest of the summer. I know I can’t pull out the boots until at least late November so I’ll be sporting these at least for a few more months.
