One of my favorite ways to learn about the blogging industry is listening to industry-related podcasts. You’ll usually find me with one earbud in tuning to a podcast on blogging and online marketing. Podcasts have really taken off these past few years. You can find one covering just about anything — true crime, motivational, finance, and more. The podcasts for bloggers and creatives I like listening to are the ones that inspire, provide industry tips, and share success stories. I also love listening to a well-known blogger’s journey. Their failures and triumphs and how they ultimately made their dream a reality.
Listening to someone’s real journey and how they too experienced many bumps along the way debunks any preconceived notion of an ‘overnight success.’
Podcasts for bloggers and creatives are a great tool for anyone wanting to get into a creative space. Many entrepreneurs have started podcasts to share all their insider secrets and experiences.
For someone who is looking to get started, podcasts are a treasure chest of valuable information.
Think of it as your real-world university that you can turn on anytime. Make the most of your commutes, wait-times, and chores by plugging into one of the following podcasts.
Best Podcasts for Bloggers and Influencers

Best Podcasts for Motivation
Some days are better than others but it helps when you have a hype man (or woman) in your ear. Even when things are going great, it’s nice to hear a motivating voice telling you to keep going, know your worth, and don’t sweat the small stuff.
Straight Up with Trent Shelton – A fairly new podcast but a true source of motivation. I’ve passed along this podcast to a few friends because the words he speaks are truly a must-hear. He gives me chills with his raw delivery on the value of self-worth and when to cut the toxic people out of your life.
Rise Podcast with Rachel Hollis – I was hooked on Rachel after reading both her books ‘Girl, Wash Your Face’ and ‘ Girl, Stop Apologizing.’ Both were extremely uplifting and just the kick in the pants needed when I’m feeling down. Her podcast is just as real and inspirational and I love the casual vibe.
