I’ve always loved having big picture coffee table books in my home. They are great because they serve two functions. A great read when you want to wind down, and an inexpensive way to decorate your home.

We have a lot of shelf space in one of our living rooms and I just love to style my coffee table books there. I either stack them and place a small decor item or candle on top. Or I like to stand them up to create some height on my very boring white shelves.
HOW TO STYLE YOUR COFFEE TABLE BOOKS
- Pair books that have the same or similar colors on the covers. If you prefer neutral home decor, look for books with tan, taupe, white or black covers.
- When stacking books together, place the larger book on the bottom. Try to keep the books with similar lengths together to create a more streamlined look.
- If you have a book that has a colorful sleeve but you want neutral tones, remove the sleeve. Chances are the actual book cover may be a plain, neutral color.
- You can also put your favorite coffee table book on display with this clear table display.
