I absolutely love getting in a good cardio session, and if it burns a ton of calories — sign me up! This workout beats a treadmill any day and the weather was amazing so we took it to the drive way.
Again, my trusty bands came out to play as well as a good ‘ole jump rope. Jumping rope is a great way to increase your heart rate and can be a warm up or full-blown workout in itself. Here you will be jumping for 30 seconds each with a variation of lunges in between. If you like this workout, don’t forget to try this one out as well.
Heart-Healthy Workout
The Workout:
Jump rope 30 sec
20 walking lunges
Jump rope30 sec
20 walking side lunges with band
Jump rope 30 sec
20 jump squats
Rest for 1-2 minutes and repeat entire workout 2 more times.
