They’ve been around for a while and there’s no sight of them slowing down – faux leather leggings. They’re everywhere this season and are the perfect item to add to your closet now. I want to show you how to style faux leather leggings in a casual way.
I’ve tried a few in the past and they just weren’t a good fit. I finally found a pair at Abercrombie that fits and looks great. It’s also great material and perfect for cooler temperatures.

I like these leggings because they are so versatile. You can either dress them up with a boyfriend blazer and heels or dress down with a hoodie and sneakers. So many possibilities!
I wanted to style these leggings in a casual way because it’s probably how I will wear them more frequently. Not to mention, weekends are for the family so I need them to keep up while running after two little girls.
How To Style Faux Leather Leggings
The first look is really casual and perfect for running errands. I paired the first look with a long cardigan and white sneakers. I like this look because cardigans are so easy to carry in case the weather turns warm. You know we’re in this strange season between summer and fall where the weather can’t make up its mind.
The second look is a bit more sporty. I paired it with a teddy pullover and then layered a denim jacket on top. This is perfect for when the weather gets a bit cooler. Added some tennis shoes for a sporty vibe.
Finally, paired my faux leather leggings with a puffer jacket. These jackets are everywhere and they are great at keeping you warm. Despite the thin stuffing, they really are a great jacket. I paired with patent leather combat boots — they’re my favorite from the Nordstrom sale.
