Recreating Starbucks’ iced pineapple matcha drink is a delicious way to stay cool and save money this summer. Now you can recreate this refreshing drink at home with this simple recipe.
My Pink Drink recipe is a fan favorite here at Bella Style Living and I hope you enjoy this one too.

This iced pineapple matcha drink combines two of my favorites flavors; tropical and matcha. The mellow flavor of matcha pairs well with pineapple and slight hint of ginger for a refreshing drink for the summer.
This drink doesn’t pack a punch of flavor but it is very subtle. I do recommend adding sweetener.
Coconut milk is used as an alternative milk choice and creates a thicker consistency than most latte drinks. The nutty flavor lends a tropical feel reminiscence of a pina colada — minus the rum of course.
It’s important to add that coconut milk is higher in fat and calories than other milk choices. Also worth noting, matcha contains caffeine so if you’re sensitive to it, may not want to consumer closer to bedtime.
Ingredients for Starbucks Iced Pineapple Matcha Drink
- Ice
- Matcha Powder
- Ginger (fresh or powder)
- Pineapple Juice
- Coconut Milk
- Sweetner, if desired
Step 1: Brew matcha powder as directed. I start by adding 1 tsp of matcha powder to 2/3 cup of hot water. Additionally, I also add about 1/4 tsp of freshly grated ginger to this mixture and wisk until all the powder is dissolved and frothy.

Step 2: Next, I add 1/3 cup of pineapple juice to my matcha mix. Stir.

Step 3: Fill your cup with about 2/3 full of ice.
Step 4: Pour 1 cup of coconut milk. If you have unsweetened coconut milk, you may choose to add some sweetener. I prefer to add about 1 tsp of powdered stevia or a few drops of liquid stevia.

Step 5: Pour your matcha/pineapple mixture into your cup with ice and coconut milk. You can add sweetener to desired taste.
Step 6: Mix all together and enjoy!
