without looking like the lead singer of a cover band

I’m sharing 5 must-haves to nail this rocker chic style. Nothing makes me feel more boss than a faux leather jacket. I love this style because it has a certain edge to it, but you can still keep it feminine. And

Rocker chic is a combination of sexy and stylish statement pieces — like a leather jacket, skinny pants, etc. Paired with a sleek top and edgy rocker chic style footwear.

Black Boots + Booties

First, we need to get the footwear down. Rocker style equals black boots — always black — preferably with studs, straps, and buckles. You can opt for flat boots for a more grunge look — think doc martens. I paired mine with a heeled bootie to dress up the look.

Here are some of my favorite looks including the one I’m rocking in this post.

Rocker Chic Style – Moto Jacket

Next, the quintessential faux-leather moto jacket. I like to keep my jacket fitted and structured. Studs and zipper detailing is also a great addition to this must-have.

Moto jackets are so hot for fall and you’ll be able to find one that suits any budget. Here are a few that will look great.

Rocker Chic Style – Solid or Rocker Top

I layered my jacket on top of a fitted turtleneck bodysuit. The fitted, solid-colored top elevates the style and takes it from laid-back to a more sophisticated style.

If you want to give it a more casual look, a graphic tee with your favorite rock band works well too. Here are a few styles that will look great any way you decide to style it.

Rocker Chic Style – Skinny Pants

Next, I paired my look with some black window-pane pants that give it an English rocker feel. You can also style this with black denim. I like to style this look with skinny-fitting pants or jeans because it highlights the boots — a very important piece.

Rocker Chic Style – Black Sunglasses

Moving on, a mandatory rocker chic outfit isn’t complete without an oversized pair of black sunglasses. Make them square for an updated style. The pair I’m sporting is a great find and is less than $15.

Finally, and most important, is your attitude. Confidence definitely completes this look so make sure you are rocking it like no other.

And if you want to ease into the look, try incorporating one or two of these items first. My suggestion is either the black moto jacket or a great pair of studded boots. I hope you enjoy sporting this chic style as much as I do. And for more hot trends, check out this post on snake print.

This is a great look for you! I honestly LOVE my little black boots but I’m overdue replacing my leather jacket. My old one finally had enough and had to be retired a little while back.

Woah, I never knew there was an exact name to this style. I know chic had to be in it. Everything you wore here i love and have some similar pieces. Although I do love incorporating some feminine pieces to it too but it’s nice to finally know the exact name.
