My Fall Boot Must-Haves

I am so excited that the temperature is finally dropping, even though it will only stay for about a week or so and then it’s back to the 90s.  So of course, like every other Houstonian, I will be trying to get my money’s worth of the latest boots that I recently purchased. These boots are not like any I’ve owned before.  I may be the only blogger that didn’t already own a pair of OTK (over the knee) boots but there never really was a need for it here.  Untillllllll, I found some that didn’t cost $300!  Side story:  I purchased a skirt from Goodnight Macaroon a few months ago and the sizing was all wrong.  Nevermind that it took like a month to get shipped in and then another few weeks to get store credit for the return.  So I had this credit and was very skeptical about buying anything else because I figured the sizing would be all wrong.  Well, I stumbled across these OTK boots that were marked down 40% and when adding my store credit, I managed to snag these puppies for about $60!  Yes, please!  At $60, I wouldn’t feel too bad if I only got a few wears and they looked really cute online. These boots are super comfy (I’m happy the sizing was right this time) and super soft.  The heel is not too high making it comfortable for when you go visit a pumpkin patch with the kids.

My next boot is actually a bootie.  These Vince Camuto boots I purchased at Nordstrom Rack for under $70.  They were originally about $150!  DEAL!!!!!!  I was on the hunt for some beige boots that can be paired with many looks and these were low maintenance and casual.  Perfect for pairing with cozy sweaters and cardigans.  I also love the perforated edges.  Gives it a unique look to this bootie.

And finally, my Carlos by Carlos Santana Moto Boot.  These I actually purchased last Fall, but a good moto boot never goes out of style.  And guess how much these are now???  C’mon guess.  They are less than $50 at Nordstrom Rack!!!  Can you feel the savings??!!!?? But in all honesty, sometimes a flat boot is what you need when you are out running errands all over town or when you are trying to keep is super casual.  These boots give just the right amount of edginess you need when you’re feeling like a bad mama jama.

Have y’all heard the song from Carl Carlton??  It’s worth a google.  So there are my latest boot loves that I’ll be rocking during the cooler months.  I’m on the prowl for some additional boots and can’t wait to show you what I find. I couldn’t link the OTK boots but found some similar.  The OTK boots also come in black and camel colored.  Find them at Goodnight Macaroon and you also get 20% off if you sign up with your email!

Until next time.
