Now that you have your Nordstrom Anniversary Sale picks in hand, it’s time to style them! I love getting high-quality items that fit seamlessly into my existing wardrobe. The Nordstrom sale is a great time to get your favorite items from brands like BlankNYC, Treasure and Bond, and Marc Fisher.
In this post, I’ll show you six ways to style some of the best anniversary sale finds. Every year, I make sure to really think about what items I put on my wish list.
Do I already have something similar? How many times will I wear this? Is this a trendy or staple piece? All questions I ask myself.

- My 2022 Nordstrom Anniversary Sale Wish List
In the past, I’ve shopped the sale for items because everyone was buying them but, let me tell you, what works on someone else may not work for you.
Only you know what looks good on your frame and what your style is so don’t be afraid to stand out. My style has been all over the place these past few years. Mainly because I was trying to jump on trends that I saw other bloggers wearing.
I look back and cringe. Lesson learned! Now I stick with what I feel most comfortable in and that is neutral and muted tones. Neutrals are a sure thing for extending the life of your wardrobe.
With so many possible outfit combinations, neutrals allow me to get more bang for my buck. It also makes it easier to style and come up with outfits in a hurry.
Before Shopping the NSale
Some tips for shopping the sale is to shop early. To do this, make sure you’re part of the Nordy club. This will give you early access to the sale before the general public and it’s free. More details here. And shopping early means a greater chance of getting the items on your wish list.
Some of the outfits are previous Nordstrom sale items, but I have linked (affiliate links) similar items. Again, this is more of a reference style guide to help you wear similar items.
Nordstrom Anniversary Sale Style Guide
Topshop Dad Nonstretch High Waist Straight Leg Jeans
These are a great pair of washed black denim if you’re looking for a more laid-back feel. There is one hole near the right pocket but the rest of the pair is undistressed. The straight-leg jean runs a little small. I had to size up 2 sizes to get the loose fit.

Treasure & Bond Off the Shoulder Pullover
I fell for this Treasure & Bond sweater as soon as I saw it! And it did not disappoint! It’s thick so definitely something to wear in the fall but hangs beautifully.

Free People Leo Henley Tee
This 2021 Nordstrom Sale bestseller was back this year so I made sure to grab it. Another item that I love! Perfect oversized top to pair leggings or biker shorts.

Zella Carey Jacquard Knit Funnel Neck Pullover
This Zella pullover is gorgeous in real life! It has an uneven hem and falls a little lower on the back. Included thumb hole on the sleeves to keep hands warm. I also love the funnel neck because it’s not restricting and hangs loosely around the neck.

BlankNYC Moto Jacket
I have been on the hunt for a new faux leather jacket and this BlankNYC was the perfect pick! I love the belt detail and the hardware is similar to my beloved Topshop jacket.

Open edit Rib dolman sleeve sweater
I really like this ribbed sweater because it’s the perfect neutral for fall. I purchased the ivory dove color and at less than $40 is a steal! You’ll definitely be able to pair this sweater in so many ways this season.

I hope you found some inspiration in this Nordstrom Sale style guide. I always try to get the most use out of my clothing and make sure I can stretch my money the best way. No reason to splurge (unless you want to) on all expensive clothing. I hope this post shows you that it’s easy to pair investment pieces with more affordable items.
The best advice is to know your personal style. It’s easy to get trapped into buying what is popular, but only you know what makes you comfortable.
