A capsule wardrobe is a collection of about 30-50 pieces of clothing that you can wear interchangeably to create multiple outfits.
The idea behind this style of dressing that the less items you have to choose from the less time you're left deciding what to wear.
Because these pieces go together, you can just pick a top, a bottom, and a pair of shoes and be done.
While many capsule wardrobes may seem restricting and boring, it doesn't have to be the end all be all for minimalistic style. You can definitely still incorporate your favorite prints and colors, but setting the base is very important.
