If it’s one thing I’ve learned during this quarantine, it’s how to make my favorite Starbucks drinks at home; I love this iced chai latte! My most viewed recipe on the blog is this Starbucks Pink Drink recipe, but the chai latte is a good one going into fall.
You can make it hot or iced. It is super simple to make because most of the ingredients are already pre-made. You could go about brewing your own chai teabags and going from there, but there’s an easier (and tasty) way. I will add that if you are looking for a vegan alternative, DO NOT use the Tazo concentrate as it does contain honey.
I start with Tazo’s Chai Latte concentrate as my base. You can find these at most major grocers. I also use Silk’s soy milk, but you can use any milk you prefer.
All you have to do is fill your cup halfway with ice. I like to use these mason jars with the wood lid.
Pour 3/4 with the chai mix and 1/4 of the cup with your choice of milk. Mix and enjoy!

For a hot alternative, just heat your milk in a saucepan until it boils. You may choose to froth your milk and then add the Tazo concentrate. For the vegan alternative, brew two chai tea bags in the hot soy milk. You may add maple syrup to sweeten.
This would make a perfect drink as the weather gets cooler. It’s also a nice alternative for the season’s must-have Pumpkin Spice Lattes.
I hope you enjoy this super easy recipe. Let me know if the comments below if you are a tea or coffee drinker.
