I’m all about easy, effortless hair so when I found the T3 SinglePass curling iron on sale, I snagged it right up! I’ve heard about the brand and read all the raving reviews. But was it really worth the price?
I purchased the T3 SinglePass Ceramic Curling Iron 1.25 inch barrel during this year’s Nordstrom Anniversary Sale. The hair tool retails at about $150 but I purchased mine right at $100. I usually don’t spend this much on a hair tool, but I have been making an effort to take better care of my hair.

The claim that this was a single pass curling iron really caught my attention. I know heat is not hair-friendly, so the less I have to run a hot tool through my hair the better. One and done is definitely what I was after.

T3 SinglePass Curling Iron Review
Is The T3 Singlepass Curling Iron Worth It?
Yes! This curling iron is definitely worth it if you like to curl your hair on a daily basis. Even if it’s only a few times a week, it’s still worth it. If you have thick hair like me, then it is definitely worth it given all the time I save.
You’ll love that it heats up fast and distributes heat evenly and consistently. You’ll also love the frizz-free curls thanks to the ceramic barrel.
I will add, if your hair is the type that can’t hold a curl, then you may want to pass. Chances are this curling iron will not be able to make miracles happen so I’d hate for you to purchase it and continue to have the same results as in the past.
What’s the Best T3Micro Curling Iron?
If you head over to T3micro.com and check out the “Curling Irons” section, you’ll notice three categories:
Convertibles Collection
This is a great option if you love to try different hairstyles. These options allow you to interchange the barrels. There are 7 options to choose from. You’ll need to start by purchasing the convertible base and then purchase the barrels separately.
The base retails at around $120 and you can expect to pay an extra $100 for each interchangeable barrel.
Clip Irons
If you’re looking for a more affordable and traditional type of curling iron, then the clip irons are it. Included are the Singlepass 1.25″ and 1″ barrels.
If you’re looking for more customized options, the T3 Curl ID may be the way to go. This 1.35″ smart iron is used by many professionals for its customizable capabilities. It’s equipped with a smart-touch interface and HeatID technology.
It adjusts heat to your unique profile based on hair texture, color, and chemical treatments. The T3 Curl ID is also the recipient of the 2020 Marie Claire Beauty Game Changers award.
Wand Irons
If you’re looking for more messy, beach waves, the T3 Singlepass Wave is your best bet. Included is the same Singlepass technology. But the tapered barrel allows you to create a more uneven curl for gorgeous beach waves.
The 1.25″ barrel tapers to a .75″ tip. This one-and-done curling iron is a great one to add to your hair tools collection.
Let me know if you’ve ever tried any of the T3 curling irons and your thoughts. I’d love to read all about them.
